What a Geriatric Nursing Assistant does is to provide hands-on care for elderly individuals, including assistance with daily living activities, such as feeding and bathing. At Bethel Healthcare Institute, we will help you become a Geriatric Nursing Assistant by providing you with quality training to meet your education requirements. Our faculty teaches you the key responsibilities of a Geriatric Nursing Assistant in a classroom setting. These responsibilities include assisting patients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and using the bathroom; helping patients with mobility and transferring, such getting in and out of bed; repositioning patients who are not ambulatory; and meal preparation and feeding assistance.
